Defiantly good harness and collar set but not made for small dogs like my Yorkie baskets. I have a pair of parents. Mom weighs 4.9 pounds, Dad weighs 3.2 pounds and their baby son is 6 months old and weighs almost 4 pounds. I bought it for a child in XS and it's too big it just slips out. So I tried it on his mother who is a bit taller and also too big for her. I can still hook the leash on the first two metal rings, but then when we go to the dog park I have to take the harness off the leash, which I don't want to do, so I guess I'll give it away. If your dog is over 5-6 pounds I think the XS will fit, and for a $10 kit it's definitely very sturdy. I would buy again if they made XXS for my Yorkies
