This webcam is really ready for action. I didn't realize until I got it that you need the weight of the cable behind the webcam to hold it in place as it doesn't have a clip that attaches to the monitor. It simply rests on the monitor, using a couple of plastic grommets on the clip and the weight of the cable to keep it in place. Once you've placed it on the monitor, you have very limited tilt to center your face in the video. The camera has a built-in microphone. So if you're using a headset or a separate microphone, be careful about which microphone you want your video chat software to use. The camera's field of view is fairly wide, and objects in the distant background are fairly well focused. So make sure you don't have anything in your background that you don't want other people to see.
