This pump is advertised as replacing the Sportsman 500 which uses OEM part #3088070 But when I installed it the carburetor was leaking. After working for a long time thinking the problem was the carburetor, I found out that the pump pushers are not the same. The pressure from this pump opens the float and causes a leak. I replaced it with OEM part #3088070 and it doesn't leak. Pump worked but is not a replacement for part 3088070. Check OEM part numbers and fuel pressure before ordering.
