KIPA Sportsman Scrambler Predator Xpedition Review

Bought one of these to replace my factory pump. Fixed the problem for about a year. The performance gradually became weaker and weaker. I ended up buying a factory pump for $90. Only buy this to keep your machine running if you plan to sell it.

Excellent OEM direct replacement fuel pump. I used this on a 2002 Polaris Magnum 325 that had sat in Florida for 10 years. With this part, new carburetor, starter, starter solenoid, battery and fluid change, the quad started right away and runs great. I highly recommend this fuel pump.

Replace the original pump with this for a fraction of the dealer cost. The machine works great and I saved a lot of money. Not all fakes are junk as the dealers would have you believe. This is a very simple device and easy to clone. There is also a fake carb that works great for 15% off the OEM carb. If you try these fakes and they don't work, you won't miss much.

This pump is advertised as replacing the Sportsman 500 which uses OEM part #3088070 But when I installed it the carburetor was leaking. After working for a long time thinking the problem was the carburetor, I found out that the pump pushers are not the same. The pressure from this pump opens the float and causes a leak. I replaced it with OEM part #3088070 and it doesn't leak. Pump worked but is not a replacement for part 3088070. Check OEM part numbers and fuel pressure before ordering.

My 2004 Polaris Sportsman 700 (Carb) had starting problems and ran poorly for a while. I disconnected the fuel line from the carburetor and cranked the engine. The fuel was slowly running out. I saw this pump had good reviews and a great price. Installation took 5 minutes. Did the same test with the fuel line disconnected. This time the fuel came out with some pressure.
