I have an E36 323i. They work, but note that the hood doesn't open as high as it used to. Or should I say the hood doesn't open that far. I would estimate the hood with OEM pillars to be a little over 2 inches below its maximum height. I hit my head about 5 times trying to get out from under the hood of my car. They've been in my car for four months now. There's still a lot of pressure. It's good.
