Review on ๐Ÿ–ฅ๏ธ ARVICKA Computer Speaker: Compact Wired Multimedia Speaker with LED Accents for PC Monitor, Laptop, and more - Black by Mike Pedroza

Compact, cheap and without dynamic range

I wasn't expecting much for the money, I needed a small compact monitor speaker for my second PC. He did a trick for that! I unpacked the speakers and quickly noticed that one had rubber feet and the other didn't. So much for the QC. Luckily I had my own rubber feet and replaced them all to match. I connected the speakers to a USB hub and connected my 3.5mm audio jack from the PC to the speakers. Loaded Fleetwood Mac and there it was, the sound! The sound of these speakers is what you would expect from a pair of $15 speakers. It has a limited range and delivers mid-range AM radio sound with very little or no bass support. The highs were bright and crisp than I thought, but coupled with the AM Radio mid-range boost, it clearly lacked precision as you'd expect. I played around with the ASUS EQ a bit and was able to get better accuracy, but to do that I needed to seriously expand the capabilities of the EQ. Normally the equalizer is not used in this way, but in this case it is acceptable. is it cheap Yes, does it make a noise? Yes, this product gives you sound when you need it, but don't expect more. My first reaction in the lab after plugging it in was "no". That pretty much sums it up! Pros: - Inexpensive - Compact - USB powered - Detachable 3.5mm audio cable - Looks good Cons: - AM radio-like sound - No bass - Quality control issues - Needed EQ adjustments to improve sound quality.
