Review on 🧦 Warmth, Performance, and Versatility: blueseventy Thermal Swim Socks for Triathlon Training and Cold Open Water Swimming by Mike Sutherland

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Not warm enough in cold water. Durability is so-so.

Bought a pair to swim in the unheated pool in winter. My feet get cold pretty quickly for the first few minutes and are numb after 45 minutes of swimming. I have to wear a short 3mm neoprene sock in this Blueseventy sock to keep me warm for a 45 minute swim. The toe holds up well. I wear socks under my wetsuit. Butt starts peeling a little after swimming every day for 1 month. I don't walk on the floor in socks, I just get in and out of the pool and gently push myself off the wall while swimming on my knees. To be fair, I swim 200 laps every day. So the socks start to peel off at the bottom after about 6000 revs/laps (I'm not kicking or pushing hard here either). In comparison, they are much more durable than other cheap Revain neoprene socks which have coin sized holes after 2 weeks of same use. My main complaint is that these socks don't keep my feet warm in cold water. I just bought thicker Zone3 socks and hope they work better.
