Comfortable for surfing

They were perfect for swimming in the reservoir in the mid 60's. Also cushioned my feet as I walked from the pool exit to T1.

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Poorly thought out

Really does the job

They really work in cold water. I swim 1 hour in 50 degree warm water and my feet are not warm but not cold either. Good protection against stones and branches from the water.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Not warm at all! Best in the water Boots and socks

I tried using these to swim in 48 degree Fahrenheit water but they didn't warm my feet at all! They generated resistance but gave off no heat. My legs were very sore from the cold. I will look for other socks.

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Minimal protection against extreme cold

They might be suitable for triathlete training in water of 60 degrees Fahrenheit or higher, but in extreme cold they don't warm my feet. Right now I'm swimming in 56.4 degrees Fahrenheit water and my feet are cold in the water and very cold when I come out.

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • I don't remember, but there was something

Perfect for cold water triathlon

Great for cold water swimming. Just finished an Ironman 70.3 in very cold water and they worked great. Didn't fill up with water, and while they didn't keep my legs warm, they definitely took the edge off. Highly recommended for cold water swimming.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Minor issues

Worth the money

Great product. I tend to get cold in 60 degree water and it has really made a difference for me. Usually when swimming in cold open water having to put petroleum jelly on your face and legs to endure such a cold environment was a bummer. Now these bad boys saved my cold feet. If you're thinking of getting them, do so. Worth the price. After doing my best value for money research, they have been highly recommended by reputable swim magazines and consumer reports, and have been highly recommended

Pros
  • Handsfree
Cons
  • Almost never

Not warm enough in cold water. Durability is so-so.

Bought a pair to swim in the unheated pool in winter. My feet get cold pretty quickly for the first few minutes and are numb after 45 minutes of swimming. I have to wear a short 3mm neoprene sock in this Blueseventy sock to keep me warm for a 45 minute swim. The toe holds up well. I wear socks under my wetsuit. Butt starts peeling a little after swimming every day for 1 month. I don't walk on the floor in socks, I just get in and out of the pool and gently push myself off the wall while…

Pros
  • Good thing
Cons
  • Many things
