Glasses are very attractive. I had no trouble burning the cans, although they are hot to the touch. The problem is that the smell is not strong. I live in a tiny cottage with small rooms and 8 foot ceilings. So far I've lit 7 candles out of 12 and only the scent of lavender and gardenia filled the small room. Perhaps these candles would be appropriate for the bathroom, but you won't smell strongly of them in a large room. Also, the smell is artificial, like perfumed detergent or fabric softener, they don't smell divine or anything, and you can't tell exactly what the smell is (except for gardenia, which is pretty good). They smell better when they're not burning.
