A few weeks ago a friend of mine bought a 1TB Netac M.2 drive and told me it was the 256GB M.2 drive that came with it surpasses personal computer I just bought a CyberPowerPC gaming pc in December that came with a 256GB SATA SSD so I had to try it. Physical installation is as simple as a screw depending on where your motherboard slot is. In my case, the only M.2 slot is under the GPU, so I had to move it before installing it, but that's not a problem. If you want to use it as your operating system's main drive, which I highly recommend as it means significantly faster boot times thanks to incredible read/write times, there is a great free tool called EaseUS Todo Backup Free. Using this tool I made a "backup" of my C drive for Netac and then configured my computer to boot from that drive instead of the original C drive. Once Windows boots up, your Netac will now be called C and your old C drive will be reassigned to a different letter. When you no longer need the old drive, you can remove it from your PC and keep it as a backup of your Windows installation. Otherwise, you can just format this drive and use it as free storage. I also ran CrystalDiskMark. As you can see from the photos, the Netac drive actually performs better than the list and is about 3-7x faster than the SATA SSD I installed previously. I will update little by little if there are any problems with it. hard drive, but I think it's the perfect solution for those who want to speed up their system.
