Review on ☕ Cuisinart SS-10P1 Premium Single-Serve Coffee Maker, 72 Oz, Silver by Bill Martinson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

very bad as it was a good indicator of what the device was.

First Impression: Smaller, lighter and apparently less water capacity than the SS700 it replaced. Gone were the blue LEDs in the water tank, which was a shame as it was a good indicator that the unit was on and the blue light at night was a subtle light that was easy on the eye. The water temperature is shown with HOT and XHOT instead of degrees z. B. selected. 192*. But XHOT is a lot hotter than the 192* setting on the SS700, which is a plus. Head functionality is just one possible improvement. With the SS700, both the upper and lower "jaws" of the head moved, which caused problems in the later life of the device due to displacements, either squeezing the top of the K cup or creating a slotted hole. In this unit it's simplified, only the top moves, and I'm hoping this eliminates the squeezing. However, the 1st K cup that went through the machine had the top seal ripped off and the coffee grounds were flying all over the place. There were no problems at the second K-Cup. The problem could be the 1st K-Cup itself, or the fact that the K-Cup cradle is rocking it. The time will show. If the seal blast continues, the device will be returned to Revain. Currently 3 stars. Update 09/08/2017: The machine has been working properly since the first check. Brews faster than SS700. 5 Stars
