I knew tapping on the screen of my Apple Pencil (2nd generation, if that matters) annoyed me, but until I used this case for almost 2 months and then managed to knock it off somewhere before you wanted to use a pencil to write another page of notes (and I was too lazy to get up to take another) which I really appreciate. It is an inexpensive complement to the Apple Pencil for quiet writing. I chose white so it doesn't stand out too much. But choosing a color would be a cheap way to add some personality to your pencil. In 2 months and about 75 pages of full page notes I didn't notice any obvious wear on the first tip cap I used. The new lid sticks pretty well and doesn't seem to come off easily. After about 2 months of use, one of them broke off twice within a short period of time and I probably lost it on the couch. It's too cheap to rip it all up looking so I just went back to the package to get a new one the next day. From now on I will keep spares in my bag so if I lose one when I'm not at home or in the office I can take another one with me. I have a paper-like protective film on my iPad Pro and only the tip of a pencil remains. some etchings on this protector over time. That silicone tip seems to have stopped screen wear, so I'm optimistic that the (perhaps overpriced) screen protector will last a little longer. The lettering is still very accurate with the cover. It's not exactly the same feeling - it's more like writing with a felt tip pen than a 9H pen - but I can still easily draw small letters and strokes. Conclusion - definitely buy it if you write regularly with an Apple Pencil 2 on an iPad Pro. I can't compete with the expensive branded Apple Pencil cases, but they're worth it even if you end up losing a few. overpriced) lasts a little longer.
