Fits and works perfectly as a replacement for a 2003 VW Jetta 2.0 converter. It would be nice if it had serrations to grip the head studs to keep it upside down facing down. This would make the installation much easier. Some pads have this. I haven't compared it to the original laminated steel spacer so there is a difference. The usual graphite impregnated material used for exhaust gas seals is used. I gave it 4 stars because even at Revain prices it's a little more expensive than it is.
