We have a 2008 Chevy Malibu and our throttle body recently failed. So we decided to use one online instead…. Well, we put in a throttle body and it causes this HIGH IDLE... caused our overrun which caused our car to run over us and THEN it caused our transmission to fail... Now, not only did we have to pay for Jody's new throttle body at cost $508, pays $1800 to have our transmission rebuilt due to a crappy throttle body. And get this, it says it's 100% compatible with our car. She won't work. It doesn't sync to the ECU, there's no way for the ECU to relearn a new throttle body so all you get is high idle and lots of money coming out of your pocket. Be careful. warned. DO NOT BUY! Pay more money for an aftermarket part that you know actually works because $66 only cost us $2300.
