This is a great phone mount! I'm using it on a V Star 1300 with an Iphone 6 and it mounts quickly, strong enough to hold steady and secure, slides in and out of the phone easily, has plenty of reach to get the angle just right find, and looks decent when the phone is not in it. I highly recommend this route. The only suggestion I would add is to omit the foam inserts that go under the clamps, they tend to distort and look weird. I just wrapped 1 loop of tape around the bars under the U clamps and it worked! (For those wondering, this is with a 1" handlebar.)
