These shoes are just right for my wide feet! I'm a women's 8.5 and am struggling to find a shoe that fits me and it took me a while but I finally found out that kids shoes are really wide for some reason. That being said, going down to youth sizing usually requires some trade-offs in terms of quality and arch support, so I usually fit new insoles. The quality itself was there but currently I'm only giving it 3 stars because the pair I received had a slight seam fault on one boot that was too chafing to be worth keeping. I'm waiting for a spare pair hoping that it is about this specific shoe and not about the design. My biggest thought is that I feel sorry for the child who would have received this because as a parent I may not sympathize with the perceived discomfort of shoes when a child complains about it rather than experiencing it myself. And they might not even know to complain about it!
