First of all, this seems like a decent product with list of ingredients. The consistency is just enough to stay in place but runny enough to cover well. I only use it on the coronal band and heel. It has a strong but not unpleasant smell. My horse carefully inspected his front legs after they were put on, and for a moment I was afraid he might try to lick the bandage. Luckily they didn't like it. I gave three stars because I hate the container. Mine didn't have the comfy red handle in the photo. At the end of the brush there is only a thin black screw cap. Difficult to manipulate and difficult to hold on to. After dropping it, you must either soak the whole bottle with the cap on, or wash and dry the brush completely. I am not happy that I did not receive the goods as shown in the photo.
