Review on ❄️ KONIG CB-12 080 Snow Chains: Premium Set of 2 Chains for Excellent Traction by Brandon Kraemer

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Easy to use, easy to put on, not easy to take off.

Yesterday the chains came at the same time as the snowfall. I figured this would be the perfect time to check the tracks before the plows came through. I completed the first chain in (I clocked) 5 minutes and 22 seconds. The second side, because I had some practice with the first side, took two minutes and 4 seconds, which is about the two-minute Thule estimate. Going up a VERY steep hill (Pearl Street in Lyon, NY has a vertical drop of 250 feet in less than 1/4 mile) with an inch of snow on the ground was no problem. undress her? different story As recommended by Thule, I mount the car so that the bottle opener is directly above the wheel on the driver's side. There is no problem, it will be removed. The passenger side wasn't positioned correctly so I placed it in the opposite direction and. Nothing has happened. Yes, I thought, there's chain on the passenger side (lots of traction), but there's no chain on the driver's side (no traction), so the open differential sent all the power to the side without the chain. It was just a nuisance here, but if it was on the side of the road with cars whistling it would be very, very lame.

Pros
  • Easy assembly
Cons
  • Difficult to say
