Excellent snow chains for accessories and parts

I've only had to use them once this season but these chains work great. I've never worn this type of necklace either. A tip: wear something with long sleeves to protect your clothes; At least the cuffs of any shirt you wear are at risk of getting dirty. otherwise the first chain took about 50 minutes because I had a slight learning curve. The second chain took about 10 minutes so wasn't bad at all. I felt absolutely safe on snow and ice. it wasn't difficult at all to remove them - just unhook…

Pros
  • High test results for grip and durability
Cons
  • Safety

the best chains! Best Accessories and Parts

We go to the mountains every year during the ski season and this year we finally decided we were fed up with cable chains and it was time to get real chains. these did not disappoint. Cable chains are difficult to install, awkward to remove, and difficult to ride—and they break so easily we replace them two sets a year. These Thule chains only take 2 minutes to put on and 1 minute to take off, they are tight and the ride is less bumpy and also quieter; More importantly, this chain is undamaged…

Thule CB12 12mm Car Snow Chains

I liked the packaging (plastic case and well made). There is Velcore on the bottom to keep the case from sliding on the truck. It cleans well and stays there until you move it. Our trip to the Northwest, which is why we bought it, was so perfect (just light snowfall all the time) that we didn't need to use it. were very clear so it's like a 10 minute test. (You know damn well that laying on the floor to hook her butt isn't fun.) So far I'm happy with the price, the case, and the product. I'll…

Great car chains

These are perfect for keeping in your car in case you need chains in an emergency. The design makes them very easy to put on, which is exactly what you need, especially if you don't use chains regularly. You can mount them on both tires in less than 5 minutes. Even non-mechanics can put them on easily and correctly. The chains are strong but won't last through seasons and seasons of regular use, but they are much stronger and more efficient than cheaper and useless cable chains. . They come in…

Easy to use, easy to put on, not easy to take off.

Yesterday the chains came at the same time as the snowfall. I figured this would be the perfect time to check the tracks before the plows came through. I completed the first chain in (I clocked) 5 minutes and 22 seconds. The second side, because I had some practice with the first side, took two minutes and 4 seconds, which is about the two-minute Thule estimate. Going up a VERY steep hill (Pearl Street in Lyon, NY has a vertical drop of 250 feet in less than 1/4 mile) with an inch of snow on…

Pros
  • Easy assembly
Cons
  • Difficult to say

Broke after two weeks

Poorly made, poorly designed and poor customer service. One of the chains on the tire broke after two weeks of use, having driven it less than 50 miles total. I contacted Thule support on February 17th and the first thing they did was void the warranty by asking if I drove over 40mph with them. I replied on February 17th that no. Three days no answer. Then on 2/20 they said they would send a "link replacement kit". It's March 11th and I still haven't received it and winter is over. Design…

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Poorly thought out
