I wear bifocals so I can see my computer monitor

While working from home, I discovered an issue that I had not previously paid much attention to. I have a hard time seeing the computer monitor when I wear bifocals. I can see through the lenses quite well, but not more than 8 hours a day. I had to find something else. I briefly tried wearing reading glasses over my regular glasses just to see. Not very comfortable for a very long time. So I decided to see if there was such a thing as clip-on magnifiers. Oh wonder they are. I was a bit hesitant because of where the clip is. I have fairly strong eyesight which usually means my glasses are quite heavy. Holding something directly over your nose, even for 10 minutes, when your glasses are already heavy is extremely uncomfortable. But I saw reviews that they are light so I decided to try them. I've been using them for a couple of weeks now and I have to say I'm very happy with my purchase. The fact that I can fold them up and down is a nice perk too. When I don't need them, I can move them out of the way or take them off. Turning them halfway creates an imbalance in balance, so they tend to feel heavier in this case. However, when I lift them all the way up, the feeling is the same as if they were all the way down. So if you have sinus problems, your glasses are particularly heavy, or you're just just sensitive, they may not be for you. I have fairly strong eyesight and prior to my current glasses my glasses were always heavy. I don't think I could wear them for long with any of my previous glasses. The lenses have a slight yellow tint that blocks blue light from the monitor and reduces eye strain. It's also a lot easier to fall asleep after staring at your monitor all day. Overall they do exactly what I hoped they would. Good buy.
