Review on 🚢 AGSHOME ZIGBEE Motion Sensor - Enhanced compatibility with Echo Plus, Echo Studio, and Echo Show 2nd Generation by Sean Ceo

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Works with my 4th Gen Echo.

This rating relates to the motion sensor. Bought to use with the 4th Gen Echo. Here's what I did to get it working. I opened the Alexa app on my phone, selected "Devices" and clicked the plus sign in the top right corner to add a new device. Click Add device and then scroll to Other. Clicked on that, and before I clicked discover devices at the bottom of the screen, I turned on the motion sensor, took the reset pin that came with the motion sensor, and found the reset hole (which is under the mounting plate, remove that first) and press it for about 6 seconds. The indicator light started flashing red. Then I clicked "Discover Devices" in the app and it came up pretty quickly. When I moved it, my Alexa app reported that it had detected motion. Routine and tried and nothing. I didn't feel any movement at all. I was going to reassemble it and send it back but decided to turn it off and on again. Allows you to change all settings. It takes about 4 minutes to reset after power off before it detects motion again. And I don't see any way to change that. Also, it won't work if it's behind a double-glazed window. I put it on the windowsill and look out onto my porch. went out and jumped and it didn't work went back in and moved it and it notified me of the movement. Find out. I put it in the mailbox for now and it lets me know when the mail will be delivered. Shows in the description of ions as a smart device TUYATEC-zn9wyqtr. The Alexa app dubbed it "The First Motion Sensor." I hope this helps anyone ordering this to work with the Echo 4th Gen.
