Review on 🐈 PetaParts PEN 72-029-8539 8" Cat Flat Black Stainless Exhaust (Best Stack Smokers 5" ID Inlet 39" Long) by Jeff Langford

I usually get a higher quality stack but all high quality kits come with a box system attached to the stack and I wanted my cat stack to be installed a specific way so I went that route. There are a few small bumps where there was something on the stack before painting, like metal shavings, and it's only left a few very small bumps, but you won't notice it unless you look closely at the stack. Otherwise I would have given 5 stars. I used a 90 degree elbow, a muffler removal tube and a 5" trailer fork with a bracket welded to it so it bolts on and it worked great. My only regret is that I didn't spend $200 or $300 on a Soflo diesel stack mount kit, it would have been a lot cleaner than the one I used. Update: A few months after purchasing the stack, I noticed that the top looked very dirty and had lost its luster. After trying to clean it I noticed that it doesn't peel off, I think it's bleached from the sun because I've tried everything to clean it and it didn't work. I'll be powder coating it soon for $100 so 🤷🏼‍♂️ Still standing but I wish it hadn't come to this.
