I'm a certified networking professional so trust me. I tried 6 different adapters from $25 to $110 to hit a certain threshold. I run my entire home lab with 8 VMs with concurrent network connections. This adapter is without a doubt by far the BEST. On 5GHz it easily achieves download/upload speeds of 119/18Mbps, and on 2.4GHz it gives me 88/11Mbps. The only downside is the Linux integration, which is really troublesome, but you can easily find solutions for it, so please work with TP-Link on this issue. In the picture below, my router is at least 150 feet away.
