The oils in the balm oxidize quickly.
I really wanted this balm. The smell is amazing and really smells like real essential oils. Unfortunately, when wearing it at the end of the day, I smell a slight but unpleasant odor, typical of oils that deteriorate through oxidation. There is no smell of it either in the jar or when it is applied. Usually around 7-8 hours after heavy use. I don't get that with Honest Amish Beard Balm or BA Beard Balm. I really wanted to like it as the balm scent was blended very well. Unfortunately abandoned. Another loss in my quest for the best.
