Stable and safe, but the hook is too short!

This is my second purchase. The best I've tried so far. You must have spent over $100 to try different ones. 4 stars for the short hook. It only takes about ¼ inch to make it the perfect mount. The best feature is the fender at the base which prevents the mount from rocking up and down or back and forth.
