I was pleasantly surprised by the quantity and quality of lines and functions in this inexpensive model. The terms, for reference, are not 13, but 14. For some reason, this is not in the descriptions on the sites, but the machine can do much more than stated. Including - it takes fabric in addition up to 1.5 cm thick (there is a function of additional lifting of the foot), sews on buttons, automatically stops when winding the bobbin, has an excellent overlock line, and, which is also very nice, the most detailed instructions in 2022, equipped with a huge number of illustrations. It sews the fabric in such a way that it is very difficult to cut open - having made a couple of mistakes, I was convinced of this "in full growth". Before that, there was a "seagull", and "zinger", and "podolsk". And none of them sewed like that. I don’t know how the Japanese achieved this, but it just sews tightly. I think this information will be useful for those who have children =)))
When I was choosing a machine, I reviewed many models from different companies. Compared to Janome, "brother" cars turned out to be just soap dishes, and for more money. Yes, and sellers warn - it's better to take Janome, even if it's more expensive. Janome do not break, work for a long time and are of good build quality.

Pros

The machine was bought "for the home", but it is clearly capable of more. Takes any kind of fabric, has a horizontal shuttle (other machines in the same price category have a vertical one, and this is a big minus), it works quietly, it is easy to maintain. If you need a reliable "workhorse", this machine is for you. Plus - amazing ergonomics Janome. Everything is so thought out, so competently decided that after this machine you don’t want to look at others =)))

Cons

No cover. In my opinion, this is more than a virtue, because the machine itself is more than compact, and it does not need a cover. While we were adjusting to each other, I managed to chew on knitwear, but it was not the machine that was to blame, but the stupid hostess who did not change the needle. The problem was solved in three minutes. It is enough to remove the platform, which is under the foot (two screws are unscrewed), pull out the corner of the fabric, return the platform to its place, give yourself a hand, change the needle, sew further. Knit, denim and leather needles sold separately. Buy the needles! Moreover, they are easy to change.
