I gave these items (I bought two of these) 3 stars because they actually fit the dash opening and work fine from a USB point of view. They also have a cool backlight inside, a different color for each port. In terms of setup, you should be ready to shave. By default they wanted to fit into my slots upside down. The tabs are for the large and small tabs on the vehicle mounting brackets. My small ponytail is at the bottom but this part had it on top. This would reverse the "Audio" and "Load" labels. In addition, the larger holding bar would have to be scraped off a bit. To make it fit properly in the mounts I shaved the ridges on top (designed for the smaller protrusion) and the front and back a bit. larger detent. Using a dremel was a quick fix, but things like this are always a bit sketchy as you don't know exactly how they fit. It turned out to be pretty solid, which is good since you have to push a lot to plug in the USB cables. You'll also notice that I removed the useless rubber stoppers. They slip out almost immediately and don't stay in the device very well. As you can see from the photos, I used mine to complete my Sony XAV-AX5000 installation with two rear USB cables. It gave it a nice finished look compared to a bunch of wires dangling from the dash or in the glove box.
