I'm a watercolor painter and I buy 300 lb sheets of 20" x 30" paper that I cut to 8x10, 5x7, and 4x6. Vinyl cutters can't hold these paper sizes, and I had to measure, cut and do the initial cuts by hand to get a sheet that would fit the vinyl cutter. This cutter handles large and thick sheets with ease. The blade is very sharp and makes clean cuts every time. When cutting ordinary cardboard, it processes several sheets at once, but can only cut one sheet of watercolor paper (it is very thick and dense). The cutter is very light (but strong!) so I can easily take it from my studio to my dining table when I need to work there.
