This is a good value rangefinder with tilt adjustment that works as expected. I've found that moving back and forth (left-right) toward the center or bottom of the checkboxes gives the best readability. When using this type of range finder I do it 2 or 3 times to make sure it's the same number. You can tell if it's picking up something in the background, it's usually far, say 235 yards when you're actually 110, so you've got to use common sense at that distance. It turns off automatically, which is a good battery saver, and of course when I turn it on, I use it with one hand and the buttons are comfortable to press. I don't use the case that comes with it, it's too hard to zip and unzip so that might be the only downside because it looks pretty cool, it doesn't snap or anything.
