the thin metal frame flexes and allows the glass to fall out when pouring
Unfortunately the thin metal frame does not fit snugly around the glass to hold it securely when pouring. It can easily bend and loosen, then a glass filled with hot coffee may fall out when pouring. Dangerous design flaw. Even the beaker is not transparent, a bit cloudy, despite repeated washing.
