The main disadvantage is that you have to work in the dark!

If you are serious about tracing or copying images, I would recommend switching to a portable HD LED projector. They're more expensive but work much better with pictures, plus you can use a Roku joystick and watch movies. even practical results). Even low ambient light makes it difficult to view, track, copy or reframe the image. Working in the dark is difficult and sometimes impossible. I didn't think I realized how difficult it was until I tried it. I borrowed an HD projector from friends (a portable, that you can use in a business meeting) and found that not only allows me to work in well-lit rooms, but also greatly improves resolution, colors and line sharpness. My photos help compare, but personal observation doubles the contrast you see in these photos. Using a computer-generated image instead of a printed image has other benefits, such as: B. Image resizing, resolution upscaling, speed (quickly changing images without printing), brightness, contrast and more. The Artograph isn't a bad machine, but for $40 (at the time of review) invest another $80 and you'll find a portable HD LED projector. I hope this helps you decide what works best for your follow-up projects! and the line clarity has been greatly improved.
