Review on ๐Ÿ”ง ATOTO AC-UTP1 USB TPMS Tire Pressure Monitoring System for ATOTO A6 & S8 Android Car Stereos (External Sensors) by Ivan Gee

Great kit that is easy to install.

Excellent adapter. This gives you a complete TPMS system without much effort. However, you need to install the key software apk available on Atatos support site. Installing the app is very easy. Here are the steps: 1) From a computer or phone, download the dongle support software called "AutoKitโ€ from here: support.myatoto.com/uploadfile/appsapk/ATOTOTPMSDOTapk (Capital letters count here) Replace DOT with actual . or period. DO NOT connect this device until you have completed these steps. You may be required to register for support forms and login to access the above software. 2) Move the file downloaded in step 1 to an SD card or USB stick and insert it into the radio. . Once you have downloaded the app to your Android phone, you can transfer the file from your phone to the radio via Bluetooth. 3) The system will block the installation if you have not allowed installation from "Unknown Sources" in your settings. This setting can be found under Settings -> Security -> Unknown Sources. Open the application. 5) Plug this dongle into any USB port except the EasyLink cable. If you are using a fast charge cable, you must first disable the fast charge feature because this feature, when enabled, will prevent data transfer. You can use the USB port on the front to test, but I recommend using the USB port on the back of the radio. When you paste the key, you'll be asked if you want to open this app by default every time you install it. Below this question is a small checkbox that you must tick. Then underneath that is a tiny, oddly shaped OK button that's easy to miss and needs to be pressed. If you check the box above the OK button, you don't have to repeat this step. From there, all you have to do is change the settings to reflect your region. For example, change the bar to PSI for me and from C* to F etc. Installing the sensors themselves is pretty easy too. Unscrew your current caps and then screw them back on. Each sensor is marked with a predefined position that corresponds to its position in the software. This means that if you flip the tires, you have to put the sensors back in their correct position. The kit also includes a wrench that connects to the nut on the bottom of the sensor. Use this wrench to firmly tighten the sensor onto the valve stem. If you have plastic valve stems STOP HERE AND DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT. Plastic stems shear when torque is applied. As you drive, these sensors become denser due to weight and the laws of physics. This means you have a very good chance of breaking the stem during installation or removal. A NOTICE. I would recommend leaving that little key in the glove box or next to the wheel lock key. After completing these steps, it will automatically turn on and send a signal. There's no log on how long the batteries will last yet, but we'll let you know when they need to be replaced.
