First my first pair had a short in one of the voice coils, resulting in an instant failure. To be on the safe side, I swapped out my amplifier and both subwoofers. The second pair was perfect. They fit a little snugger than other brands I've used. It was much more difficult to put the woofers in the box. The rubber protection around the edge of the woofers doesn't line up perfectly with the screw holes, and the screw holes are also closer to the inside edge of the cabinet cutout. I RECOMMEND USING A MULTIMETER to check the resistance at each step of the installation process. . My amp is capable of handling a 1 ohm load and it turned it off when I finished installing it. After checking my impedance and fitting it properly into my truck I set up the amp and tested them, for a low profile flat mount sub they banged pretty hard even before they broke. My entire audio system, with the exception of my head unit and wiring, resides in the Scar and I am very happy with it. I'll update them after they're cracked and I can actually test peak performance.
