I suspect accuracy is not as important as with all other non-contact thermometers as many companies typically use sensors from multiple manufacturers. The big, simple display and one-button design are great (the fewer buttons, the less risk of breakage), although it's not exactly intuitive; I checked the manual for some features. Perfect design needs no instructions. It's a lightweight device that takes up a lot less room in your travel bag than many of the "fever guns" I see on the market. "Hello" - such measured temperatures can only be found via the memory function - why.? The temperature can simply flash and alternate with Hi/Lo and possibly also with "El" for an over-temperature warning. I think it would be appropriate to include a small storage/travel bag. Overall we're happy with this handy little device - a must-have these days.
