Judging by the reviews, I expected a lot more from it. For the price I would never buy this again. At first it worked perfectly, and then I wash it once a week according to the instructions. About our 6th week (i.e. 6 washes) it ripped. And not at the seam, so it's not that easy to attach/sew. It also stinks after washing. I wash with Nelly's laundry soap (which has always worked well on my kids' cloth diapers), some borax for extra cleaning, and white vinegar for scent. So after less than 3 months it has a crack and seems to have a permanent odor. I emailed the company right after the defect and as the ONE month warranty/return period had expired their response was that I should send it back to them at my expense and they would then send me a refurbished one send in a different color. This doesn't suit me for many reasons: I have to pay for shipping. weeks without a blanket which means i have to find a guineadaddy alternative for this time. I would not buy this item again.
