Very easy to pair with SmartThings hub. It's best to do the initial pairing directly on the hub (I was 20 feet away). You can then move it to another location later - as long as it is within range of a hub or a connected (non-battery powered) zwave device. I added a device by selecting the manufacturer and then the product. When you add that specific product, it only shows up in SmartThings as a managed device. The trick is to add as an internal 2 channel product. Then everything worked fine and SmartThings saw 2 separate devices - 1 for each plug. The construction makes a very good and solid impression. This looks like a design that would work well outdoors. However, I would wish for better weather protection for the forks, but I'll see how that works.
