Review on Half-size Round Brush by Bob Ross by Jeanette Green

Good brush. Fibers love to go crazy, use a little elastic to keep them in shape

Nice brush. It is excellent for foliage such as trees and bushes. Since I paint on smaller canvases, I prefer this 1 inch round brush, actually listed as a Foliage Brush. Be sure to experiment with brush alignment and how you type. and also a bit trickier when you bend the bristles up or down for different effects. large brushes are not used to keep them under control. After the brush has sat for a day or less with the rubber band around it, the bristles will form nicely together. It's important to note that your bristles must be completely dry before setting them on the elastic. Doing this while the bristles are still wet can result in rot, mold, or even rust. You also need to use the right size rubber bands. They should be snug, but not so tight that they distort the original shape of the bristles. bristle strips. However, this is usually not possible or not optimal for the situation. If you're worried about the bristles falling out, don't. These brushes are well designed and made in the USA. As with any brush, you may have a few streaks when new, but they are large so can be easily removed from the painting. I use a small brush and remove stuck bristles with a pair of bristles from the smaller brush. I also occasionally use pointed tweezers.
