Review on ⚡ DROK Digital Multimeter DC 6.5-100V 100A Power Energy Meter with LCD Display - 200141: Find Accurate Voltage, Amperage, Wattage, and Energy Usage by Jeff Morris

I have a wire connected to my trolling motor's battery box to monitor charge (or discharge) when fishing on lakes that only have electricity. A small pelican case makes a good waterproof mount. I will also add one to control the power of my solar array in front of the mppt controller. Its 100V range is ideal. The device is ideal for measuring battery discharge or charge, but cannot measure both. This is a minus, but for such a price it is insignificant to me. As always excellent DROK quality. The second small downside of my app is that the device remembers the energy data the next time I turn it on, so I have to reset it every time I charge to accurately track the usage for that day. Off-axis vision is good but poor in the lower horizontal. The display updates fairly slowly, around 1 second, which means that voltage and current measurements are stable - at least not as long as there are sudden changes in values. The blue backlight is not ideal for night use, but can be switched off with a button on the front. .Update 6/20/16: One of the two devices I bought reads the voltage to varying degrees up to 0.75V which is not very good for monitoring the battery level. Contact the supplier for an update. updated 11/1/16; I did not contact the seller, I stayed with him. Now my other block reads too. There are no setting pots on them so they are what they are. I still use one in a trolling motor for a rough readout of input/output watt hours, but a voltage-only monitor is about as useful. I really want to like them, but this is one of the Drok products that is not available yet. I'm reducing my rating to three stars.
