I have a wire connected to my trolling motor's battery box to monitor charge (or discharge) when fishing on lakes that only have electricity. A small pelican case makes a good waterproof mount. I bought this as a base power meter for my lithium battery and inverter system in my RV. After plugging it in, I found that it only works one way.
