This is NOT stainless steel.
The description says these suction hooks are stainless steel. It is plastic with imitation chrome. Chrome plating and stainless steel are two different things and two different types. They can have great suction power. I do not know. Haven't tried them. I just sent them back straight away. If the product description says "stainless steel", I would like to receive a stainless steel product. As mentioned, I have not tried these hooks but my experience with previous purchases of faux chrome finished hooks. After a while, the finish turns green. Yet again. Haven't tried them, just returned a product that was advertised in error.
- Appearance: The outside of the suction cup hook is made of ABS, a surface-coated material. Long lifetime. Waterproof, moisture-proof and smoke-proof.
