This is a really great knife and it looks good, but does it work? Yes. It arrived very sharp and has cut through everything I've thrown at it so far. Fruit, veg and meat so I really like this knife. As someone else said in their review - the roll (where the knife goes from the blade to the handle and has a slight indentation and hits the cut surface if you don't hold the handle higher. I actually have a very thick cutting board for butchering meat ), so in this situation it's not a problem, but something to think about. I love the sheath and the weight of the knife. I prefer a slightly shorter blade for chopping something like garlic, but otherwise it's a great utility knife.
