Review on 🔍 Enhanced Magnavox NB500MG1F Blu-ray Disc DVD Player with HDMI, 1080p Upconversion, and SD Card Slot by Vivek Allen

I got this in 2009 as a Christmas present. They bought it at Wal-Mart for about $78. I'm glad they gave it to me as I haven't had any issues with mine. I connected it to a 46" Toshiba 1080p LCD TV with a cheap HDMI cable and the picture is amazing. My player even plays DVD-R discs that I burned on a Panasonic DVD recorder, but both my Panasonic DVD recorders and my laptop have playback problems (freezes)! But they play perfectly on this Blu-ray player. It also played Avatar (although the loading time was very long) while my Insignia DVD/streaming player had some issues with it - and I understand some older players have issues playing Avatar. I would give it 5 stars but as it is a very basic BR player I only gave it 4. Now, of course, I don't watch a lot of DVDs, and this one probably doesn't load as fast as the others. But he hasn't let me down yet! And what can you expect for $78. I want to get another one!
