a wonderful choice for excursions into the great outdoors, as you do not need to listen to the music at its maximum intensity. However, if you want to listen to music in the background at a moderate volume, the speaker does a terrific job, the sound is outstanding, and the bass is juicy. At a distance of one meter, you will not be able to tell any difference between charge 3 and charge 4, especially if you are a lover of the "stereo" format; however, the sound has become more mature, rich, and solid. It plays no worse than xtreme 2 (I compare, because I have both speakers), the latter is certainly louder, but it is three times heavier and larger, and the bass disappears in exactly the same way with the addition of volume, or even stronger. The charge 4 is currently the best option from the JBL series for a portable speaker based on the ratio of price, sound quality, and size.
