Easy to fold and easy to use

I love two things about this fluid trainer: easy to fold and easy to use. And I think it's a very quiet machine. I also think it's worth noting that you don't need to use sensors or an application to control the resistance. Okay, a bit of background then. I have a Fuji Sportif 2.5 road bike and Vittoria Rubino Pro IV Graphene tires that I've had since spring. I've only ridden a bike outdoors or used a stationary machine at the gym (and I avoid gyms), this is my first piece of equipment. I'm really looking forward to using it more often in the winter. And the last entry. I don't check the sensors or the app, but it does come with sensors and a map for the app trial - I prefer to go by feel. One of the questions that comes up when it comes to running shoes is noise in relation to magnetic and liquid running shoes. But all descriptions are so vague. I only found one video that mentioned that very cheap models can operate at 90 decibels. Anyone can download the NIOSH sound level meter app to their phone for free. In my basement while it's running pretty hard it's a little over 70 decibels. I hovered just above 65 decibels most of the time; I placed the phone about 4 feet from the bike. I might suggest turning on the radio and measuring until it hits 65-70 to see if you think it's too loud for your area. Of course, the sound level is influenced by many factors, including room acoustics. From a higher quality standpoint, my wife on the next floor could still hear that I was on a stationary bike, but added that with the TV on, it wouldn't be noticeable. We also need to talk about assembly. It's really basic, but the instructions aren't perfect. More detailed photos would be nice. On the other hand, if you've serviced the bike, it won't be difficult. Something worth mentioning for a beginner like me is that the rear axle linkage needs to be replaced with the included axle linkage in order for the bike to be functional. stick to the coach's stance. The basics are covered in the guide, for example making sure the bike is upright and held securely by turning the main knobs. Then block it as directed. And pump up the tires. etc. So the whole machine is very light and easy to fold to fit in a closet, the resistance adjustment knob is very easy. As with all liquid trainers, resistance increases as the temperature of the liquid increases. Also true, it's a very smooth drag. I will benefit a lot from this offseason. Finally I can set off in the spring without having to return to the starting point. Overall I think this is a great fluid trainer for the winter or to warm up.
