Excellent trainer; No smart sensors found

This is advertised as a smart trainer and claims to work with Zwift and other apps. The instructions are mostly clear, but the information on how to install the sensors is vague and confusing. For example 1. How do you attach a rubber band to a bicycle hub? 2. What to do if your hub is not flat (see my photo)? I managed to install both sensors and I could tell by their lights blinking that they were working; However, neither the recommended OneLap utility nor the Magene utility recognizes any…

Easy to fold and easy to use

I love two things about this fluid trainer: easy to fold and easy to use. And I think it's a very quiet machine. I also think it's worth noting that you don't need to use sensors or an application to control the resistance. Okay, a bit of background then. I have a Fuji Sportif 2.5 road bike and Vittoria Rubino Pro IV Graphene tires that I've had since spring. I've only ridden a bike outdoors or used a stationary machine at the gym (and I avoid gyms), this is my first piece of equipment. I'm…

Good construction; sensors not working

This is my first exercise bike and my first attempt at using sensors to track my progress. On the plus side, the Slivery & Chavalier trainer was easy to assemble and feels very sturdy. I don't have anything to compare it to, but I think the noise level is quite reasonable. In addition, it emits a low-frequency hum that doesn't irritate my ears. The resistance it offers isn't exactly realistic, but it's not bad either. From what I've read, smooth running shoes increase resistance the longer you…
