Instructions are a bit lacking as per previous reviews but not impossible if you think things through carefully before attempting to install. The star connectors in the Nissan pillar are just plastic connectors. They come out very easily. Rack mounts are labeled left to right, front to back, and crossbars. You MUST leave the crossbar bolts loose until the brackets are in place so there is play and you don't pull the sidebars back once they are tight. Do not attempt to install with a power tool. Use the Allen key provided. Once the brackets are tightened there is enough room to tighten the cross rails. Since they're only hand tight, I'll check again in a few weeks to see if they're loose. They look just like the factory crossbars. You will need a small ladder and something to protect the roof from scratches. All holes fit. I was a little confused that I had 8 extra washers and no lock washers.
