Risk of mold, chemical smell, blocks won't stack

We love them but we're sending them back instead. so big that it was impossible to stop them from filling up with water! But with all the little groves, we couldn't clear the water. My husband and I spent over 20 minutes squeezing everything we could but as you can see in the video there is still a ton of water left over the next day. Second, the pieces don't really fit together. Your whole job is literally stacking. They also smell like chemicals. I thought they were silicone but I don't think so. I don't know where to find a high quality version of these, but it was worse than a waste of money, they were also a waste of our very limited time.
