Benefits - sounds great! This little Tao Tao DB14 pit bike sounds great! Cons - pain during installation. I had to cut the pipe, I had to cut the extension bracket from the original muffler, so installing the rack required a saw, a grinder, a drill with a carbide tipped bit, additional equipment and some ingenuity. If you're good with tools and such, it's not too annoying for a project. If you are not mechanically inclined, DO NOT BUY. It should also be noted that it is not the same diameter as the exhaust pipe, it does not fit a little. So not sure who lied, the bike company or the muffler company. But it doesn't seep away where it causes problems. Much luck!
