I like the idea of a direct replacement but it's not a muffler - a clean hole and no spark arrestor or deflector @ all. I will be returning this item!

The cap on the whistle is cheap red paint definitely not the red chrome advertised in the picture, false advertising, of course don't waste your money 💰 folks

Bought for use on a kart with a 420 engine from a predator. This muffler changed color and completely broke within 5 minutes of driving. A complete waste of money. You can watch my karting series on YouTube - Power Equipment Man.

This is the second launch with a silencer. Sounds good. I will update the review in a few months. I'm giving it four stars because it doesn't have a spark arrestor. I drilled out the rivets and put a stainless steel mesh on the end to provide a spark arrestor. It would be a nice addition. Finding a 1 inch spark arrester is almost impossible.

It has proved to be a good replacement for the Tao Tao ATK125 Kart. The muffler (aka flame arrester) has separated from the pipe attached to the cylinder block. I basically trimmed a bad weld on the end of the pipe and it matched the collar of this muffler perfectly. I had to purchase a set screw (not included) as well as a bolt/lock nut to attach it to the frame. Sounds incredible!

Benefits - sounds great! This little Tao Tao DB14 pit bike sounds great! Cons - pain during installation. I had to cut the pipe, I had to cut the extension bracket from the original muffler, so installing the rack required a saw, a grinder, a drill with a carbide tipped bit, additional equipment and some ingenuity. If you're good with tools and such, it's not too annoying for a project. If you are not mechanically inclined, DO NOT BUY. It should also be noted that it is not the same diameter as
