I am pleasantly surprised with these binoculars. They are sharp and clear, the lens caps are well thought out down to the smallest detail, the ingenious attachment of the eyecup cap to the carrying strap. I can use it without my glasses, and focus control is smooth without feeling loose. I really only have 2 small complaints: they are heavy, the phone holder is junk, the neck strap is also junk but can easily be replaced. With any camera lanyard, even the ones that came with your camera are way ahead of what came with this camera. You can also easily place spare Peak Design anchors here. I took it to the beach and hiking in the mountains. The bag that came with it is useless. The binoculars are fairly rain and sand resistant (that doesn't mean they're sand scratch resistant, so make sure you don't get sand in the glass) so I don't think you'll need a case anyway. Pretty good and now that concerts are something special again I can't wait to pay for cheaper seats and use them to see what kind of food is between the lead singer's teeth.
